AnySend: Privacy Policy

1. Data Storage & Upload Handling

No Server Storage by SmartLayer Solutions

AnySend requires no registration, user accounts, or logins. SmartLayer Solutions does not own, operate, or maintain any file-storage servers.

• Uploaded Files: All files selected for sharing are transmitted directly from your device to the independent third-party file host you choose (such as Filebin, GoFile, Buzzheavier, FileDitch, Storage.to, temp.sh, sendit.sh, etc.). We never store, inspect, relay, or keep copies of your files on our infrastructure.
• Local Transfer History: Metadata for your uploads (file name, file size, timestamp, target host, generated share link, and transfer status) is stored locally on your device in an isolated SQLite database. This history stays on your device and is never sent to us.

2. Public File Accessibility & Security Disclaimer

When you initiate an upload, your file is transmitted directly to the independent third-party hosting service you select. Each host operates under its own privacy policy, security standards, and retention schedules.

• Do Not Upload Sensitive Data: We strongly advise against uploading confidential financial records, passwords, government IDs, private health records, or sensitive personal documents.
• Public Links: You are solely responsible for managing and sharing the generated download links. Share links only with individuals you trust.
• Retention & Deletion: File retention periods and automatic deletion rules (e.g., expiration after 1 to 10 days of inactivity) are managed strictly by the third-party hosting providers. SmartLayer Solutions cannot manually delete or alter files stored on external hosts.

3. Advertising (Appodeal Integration)

AnySend displays advertisements provided through Appodeal as our ad mediation platform.

• Appodeal and its ad network partners may collect non-personal device identifiers, technical specifications, and advertising data (such as Android Advertising ID, IP address, and general location) to serve contextual and personalized ads.
• You can manage or opt out of personalized ad tracking directly in your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset or Delete Advertising ID.

4. App Permissions

The App requests standard Android permissions strictly necessary to perform file transfers and display ads:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to upload files to selected hosts and request advertisement content.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display background upload progress notifications.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE (dataSync): Ensures file transfers continue reliably in the background without being interrupted by the system.
• AD_ID: Used by advertising SDKs to deliver and measure advertisements.

5. Security

All file uploads and API requests are established over secure, encrypted HTTPS connections. Your local transfer history remains strictly stored within your device's private app directory.

6. Children's Privacy

AnySend is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided information or used the service inappropriately, please contact us.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon publishing the revised policy with an updated "Last updated" date.
